Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. Actually, maybe re-introduce myself... I used to be a member of KM prior to the transition to the new board. However, over the summer my work got the best of me and I was unable to log in as often and never re registered. But now I'm back!
A little bit about me, I am a student in New York but I live in Boston. I'm 20 years old and a member of the New York Haitian Student Association (we hosted the 9th Annual National Haitian Student Conference in NY this past March).
In terms of Kompa music, I'm very much into the new generation bands like T-Vice, Kreyol La, CaRiMi, and etc. However, I can appreciate some good Phantoms, Zin, Top Vice, Zenglen throwback. However, anything before 1992 I certainly need to be schooled about.
Enough rambling! I look forward to the great dialogue here on KM!
