Just a little note to let you guys know that the VIP Section is almost full to capacity…
We had agreed to receive reservations until the 5th of May but it seems as though the space might be filled before than.

For those of you who were contemplating purchasing tickets there are only a few left, so make a reservation quickly to ensure that this is not a missed opportunity. Remember that V.I.P. Tickets are ONLY available by RESERVATION… and that tickets cannot be purchased at the gate or the day of the festival.

We are in the process of dotting our I’s and crossing our T’s as May 20, 2006 is almost upon us… The 8th Annual Haitian Compas Festival seems to be developing into one of our biggest festivals yet…

If you guys would still like some information about the festival or the V.I.P. Section email us at compasfestpr@hotmail.com or vipcompas@hotmail.com or call
305-343-4750.

We can’t wait to see you there.. May 20th – Bicentennial Park, Downtown Miami

Mia-
How many alcoholic drinks will each VIP ticket holder be entitled to? The VIP reservation sheet did not specify the number of drinks.

Also, what hours will the food be served? What will be the last hour for alcoholic drinks?

DIva,

Between 3 - 4 drinks... Per person.. We will confirm before the festival but the limit for sure will be 3 or 4 alcoholic drinks. There will be food throughout the duration of the festival available. Cold and Hot meals will be served throughout the day...

I believe that the last drink will be served as the last acts make it on stage so between 11:30pm and Midnight...

Hope I answered all your questions...

Mia, I have a few questions for you about the VIP.

1. Exactly how many tickets are being sold for that section?

2. In regards to the food did you guys take on consideration people that don't eat meat?

3. If I have a child that is 2 do I have to pay for him? Sent my MO over a week ago and have yet to receive confirmation.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions

Nelson & TiLouj

I have you nelson and i will be sending you a confirmation tomorrow.. TI Louj I need a real name Smile To be sure.... Please supply...

We have a limited amount of seats... I dont think I can disclose but its not near the 250's.... There wont be 300 people there, the stage won't fit all those people... Just imagine between the general public that might amount to maybe 15K - 20K - the VIP Section is composed of about 10% of that, so it is exclusive.

There will be a menu to fit all tastes.

For a 2 year old no need to pay..

I hope I answered everything...

Mia, Let me go ahead and ask you a nonVIP-related question. Does this mean the last act will start performing right around 11:30p? If that's the case, are the judges gonna have enough time to rate the band? Then again, some bands don't care whether or not they have enough time as long as they get the paid. Question Arrow

Gro,

They asked at what time we would stop serving drinks I eluded to the fact that it would be at the same time as the last band would be setting up to perform... I didn't mean to make anyone start calculating the allotted time of the bands... We have a set time for all bands performing and working towards keeping that untouched is our goal... We can't promise anything.... So just come and see...

:) Thanks guys!
