This thread is not intended to disrespect any bands or artists. I want to make myself clear.

During the entire month, I listened to most of the kanaval songs released.

I especially listened to those songs that were mentioned as the best

But when I listened to some of these songs, here is what I kept asking. How is the band going to perform this on the beton. Because at the end of the day that is what counts.

So with that said I concluded, this year especially, there are two kind of kanaval songs. 1. Studio kanaval songs. These songs have great vocals and melodies. 2. Beton kanaval songs. These songs are filled with grooves and animation intended to move the masses.

I think its important to make that distinction.

You're absolutely right DjKreyol...
As a big T-vice's fan, you ever wonder why they always have to play "Helicopter" a sou beton an?
What does that say about their latest kanavals? Hmm
And a band like Djakout is always able to play their kanaval every year with no problem...

N2B

Thanks for the comment

But I don't see how any of what you said applies to the subject of the thread

I am talking about bands having kanavals that sound good on CD that may necessarily sound good on the beton because the band may lack a singer that can animate or the song itself manke beton

So in all honesty, I can't even begin to answer your questions because they have nothing to do with the subject at hand

I'm not clear either Sad Sad . Can you divide the songs into the two categories for me.
