Nou Krezi, surprised a great deal of people on Mardi-Gras. Before Nou Krezi reached all the main stands I am not sure If because James' s voice was fading but I had noticed that the bands lead vocals for their meringue were being done by none other than Stanley. Stanley , surprised me big time. His voice had even more energy and charisma than james' s.

I had no idea that Stanley with his R&B Kreol style of singing could sing on up tempo beat with so much energy.

David Dupoux on the last day def... salvaged his reputation as a solid performer. I heard David' s keyboard touches of the old Krezi fame with Delice, Mika Ben, and the rest of the gang back then.

For a band who did not have a float until the second day of the festivities and could not have prepared for this event like their opponents. Nou Krezi did very well in my book.

James, as a new comer should learn the technics on how to conserve his voice for those intense performances which last for at least three days. James, only performed for less than two days and he almost totally lost his voice. Kudos to Nou Krezi, who did not even have the best sound and with limited amount of time to come out for the event. Nou Krezi pulled It thru. Shocked Shocked Shocked Laughing Laughing

the time given for the preparation, the not se great sound system they were dealing with, Nou krezi was the champion in my book.
just imagine they had T-vice type of sound system, but they remained resilient and work with what they had.
they were the only band who remained true to their merengue, while most bands had to play part of their old success or some other gimmick to be relevant.
i am proud of my band, my hats off to the whole crew and specially the best maestro for the carnival, Mr DAVID DUPOUX.

In my opinion, I think the way James voice was so fatigued. David should have had let Stanley take over whole rest of the way.

James, forced his voice so much last night once they reached the media stands that I hope that he does not damage his voice permanently.

The lack of voice endurance and technics Tjames is lacking; i can see how david is probably missing from his cousin Mika ben. lol

some people may not understand but, I can tell you for a band to come out wit all of these inexperianced/new musicians on a float with no preparations is just INSANE!! no matter how they did during those three days, it was just great and they deserved all the respects in the world.

EPI"N DAN GRIYEN CHERIE!! Very Happy Very Happy
