You know the HMI saying that HAITI MAKES A HIT SONG and then the other towns in the HMI follow? That was once again backed up today by radio announcer TOTO BORGELLA, but he also provided us an example of a song THAT BECAME A HIT IN THE U.S BEFORE GETTING HAITI TO FOLLOW.
TOTO BORGELLA: "TOUT MOUN KONEN that is how the market works. Haiti makes the hits and then the rest of the market follows. Having said that, I can honestly say that the song "SEXY LOVE" by Shedly featuring GAZZMAN became a hit song in the U.S first before going over to Haiti. I heard it first at Labadee Manoir, and from there I started hearing it at different clubs in the U.S. When I called people in Haiti to ask if they knew the song, THEY SAID NO. So it wasn't until later on that the song crossed the shores to Haiti and it became a hit. MIZIK SA TE HIT NAN ETAT UNIS AVAN LI RIVE HAITI."
