What's the saddest "goodbye love" song that you'ver ever heard when it comes to Haitian music? Why?

Why does this song tug at your heart strings whenever you hear it?

"Koman ta'w vlem bliye yon moun tankou'w babe
Gen 2 mizik chak tan'l jwe li fe dlo koule nan zyem"

Wow, what a song.

The words are surreal.

I don't if this song falls under "Goodbye love song," but -

Graduation - by KDANS. That song, to me, is perhaps the saddest goodbye song that I know.

Soufrans by Dadou Pasquet
From the Islam Album.

Some Lyrics from the song:

"Cherie leur-n te kite mwen te telman blese, mwen te vle few mechancete......

"malgre'm trouve ou lot boubou, et m pense a ou tou les jours....

"nou chaq fe yon chemin pou soufrans nou pa retounin."

says everything there is to know about this song.

It's When 2 people really love each other but they just can't make it work and have to move on but yet the love is so storng that they can never really move on . Soufrans pour la vie.

Much love
Raymi.

"Mwen tèlman sere w', ou di m' cheri se pa yon adieu
Avyon an dekole, m' santi se nanm mwen ki vole"

"Se pa sa m' te vle, men se sak rive
Men poukisa se konsa w'al kite, chak moun gen yon destine..."

Also "Souvenir" by Nu Look.

For me, it's TOUMAN by K-DANS.

Everything about the song reflects an extreme sadness. From melody, and voice to lyrics, the song is so emotional, melancolic, and sad. If you don't shed tears when listenning to it, you will never do for any other haitian song. At least, this is my feeling. When someone succeed to create such an art, and mix melody, voice and lyrics to paint the perfect image of a desperate heart, it is guaranted that he's created a masterpiece. TOUMAN falls in this category.

Di m' sa ou vle
Nou de se t'on melodi
Ke tout moun te dwe chante
Nou te dwe kontinye ale tout tan.

Sa pa t' pran lontan
Pa menm kwe l' te pran yon minute
Pa t' menm gen tan vin di mwen ke pwale

Men si se konsa Bondye vini li retire ou nan men m'
Mwen konnen l'ap ban m' kouraj pou m' kontinye sa k' komanse
Konsa lanmou n' va kontinye tout tan.
