"OASIS" MOVIE SOUNDTRACK: A FIRST FOR THE HMI?

It seems that the upcoming movie "OASIS" starring TI JOE ZENNY/REGINALD LUBIN/JEFF POLICARD and others will b the first Haitian movie to actually have a soundtrack coming out on CD to be sold at record stores according to the producer.

The SOUNDTRACK is shaping up pretty nicely with songs by TI JOE ZENNY, REGINALD LUBIN, RALPH CONDE, ARMSTRONG JEUNE, JEFF POLICARD and others as well.

Originally, RALPH CONDE was supposed to produce a song for the movie, and that would have been the end of that. Ralph then suggested to producer Francette, why not go all the way and produce a full movie soundtrack, which is exactly what they are doing. From my understanding, the CD will have 8/9 songs on there.

Great initiative from the "OASIS" crew.

I stand corrected....Producer Francette and Ralph Conde DID come backl and make the correction by saying "LA REBELLE" was the first movie to have a soundtrack....that's when Reginald acknowledged it as well. He did not want to be rude because he was being interviewed for "Oasis"....so he did not want to bring "La Rebelle" into it.
