We asked Djakout vocalist POUCHON DUVERGER to tell us the following, being that he has been a member of the band since the very first album/cd.

We asked him to tell us HIS FAVORITE DJAKOUT CD, FAVORITE DJAKOUT SONG, LEAST FAVORITE DJAKOUT CD, and BIGGEST DJAKOUT HIT so far. This is what he told us.

*FAVORITE DJAKOUT CD: "I prefer the JISTIS CD. It came out at a time where too many people were spreading rumors about the band and me. They had that rumor about me alledgedly raping a girl in Haiti which was not true. It was the cd that we let out a lot of emotions by asking for justice in JISTIS. JISTIS is my favorite Djakout Mizik cd so far."

*LEAST FAVORITE DJAKOUT CD: "It had to be the first Djakout cd. I was not yet mature in terms of my voice, and the band also lacked maturity."

*FAVORITE DJAKOUT "SONG": "The song is called "REV MWEN" (Found on the MOSO LANMOU cd). It was a nice song with TI CLAUDE MARCELIN. That song was personal to me because that was the time that I was pursuing the lady that became my wife."

*BIGGEST DJAKOUT HIT: "People can say what they want, but TO ME, Djakout's BIGGEST HIT SONG so far is BIZNIS PAM. That song was when DJAKOUT PRAN PEUP LA. It was a song for the people that many could relate to."

GOOD STUFF POUCHON. Thanks.

You guys agree or disagree with some of the picks?

KM!

It's a tough choice between La Familia and Biznis Pa'm.

I feel honesty on his answers.

I would say the same thing for Djakout’s biggest hit. Bisnis Pam would be my #1.

As far as the best LP, I would say Mannigueta.

Funny i was listening to Rev Mwen live the other day,bel grenn mizik. Very Happy

I would pick Lafamilia as Djakout's biggest Hit.Mizik sa te mete anpil djazz sou poz.To me,Lafamilia LP is musically better but Maniguetta is more commercial.

Not a bad pick up. Wink I would choose Biznis Pa'm as the biggest hit also.
