For those who don't think the latin market is not our market also, you are dead wrong. Keep trying to jump in the American market...trust me...HMI bands are wasting time in the Latin market where they can increase their capital. Tabou Combo, DP Express, Les Ambassadeurs, and Scorpio were amongs many old school bands that used to make some money out of HMI. These three bands probably had their songs remixed by more Latin bands than any other Haitian bands in HMI.

Here are two remix by latin bands.

DP EXPRESS's EEEE remix by VICTOR ROQUE & LA GRAN MANZANA CLICK HERE TO LISTEN ====> SABOR Y PENA

LES AMBASSADEUR's BOBINE remix by JOHNY VENTURA Click HERE TO LISTEN ====>BOBINE

Kunta!

I mentioned to you before that the Latin-American market should be the first market to look at after the creole speaking.

it is very obvious why REAL compas mixed with good vocals can attract people in those countries and we did it in the past.

Compas has been to americanised by the Diaspora Bands. As you can see Tabou's main focus was all over beside Haiti. Compas bands are focusing about American air time. Latin stars do make much more money than HMI stars which means their market is really huge....bigger than the English speaking world.

I wish promoteurs and producers, would do actuallydo studies and see who really would consume our music and support aside from les antillais and Haitian. Yardies,Blackamerica and white america are not the ones who actually love our konpa!

THANK YOU!!! Mind you, Haitians are part of Latin America as well. HELLO!! Our music is so similar. This is where the goldmine is. Richard Cave got a wake up call with "Por Favor." Imagine if they--CaRiMi--were the ones to have done this song in Spanish. I tell you.
I am really hoping that Haitian musicians can take advantage of this and tap into this market more. This is where the ultimate success lies.

track I know. Since the day I started typing on KM, I have been trying to wake the bands up. Some how...the WYCLEF syndrome is holding us back. Everybody wants to be the next big Haitian in the USA market.
