The original albums for each track in case you want to look for the orginal version. I am trying to find out wich albums some of the tracks are from. Here is what I got so far. I need help with the rest.

LA VIE MUSICIAN and MIRELLE-BEBE MINI JUPE by IBO COMBO

CAROLINE-FOREVER by SKAH SHAH

TI CAROLE-TI CAROLE by NEMOURS JN BAPTISTE

KOK GAGE-EN GALA and GREATEST HITS VOL1 by CARIBBEAN SEXTET

Pat from the tracl line up, this album is a mix of the original Haitian MERINGUE and COMPAS style. MIREILLE (orginal) is instrumental MERINGUE.

For CAROLINE....

The song on the FOREVER album was one of the MINI MAXI SINGLE that they had on the FOREVER CD...that version came out as a single.

The ORIGINAL version (not very good, by the way) was on the SHLEU SHLEU A PARIS album.

This band performs quite often in Haiti, mostly during the December holiday season, like they performed at La Réserve on Dec 31.

Btw yes, their album is being sold online.

Pascal Albert one of the most talented singer/musician in the HMI. I had the opportunity to share some musical time with this great singer. I must say he is phenomenal. He was the lead singer in the Sakad album that Nikol Levy, GiFrants and I produced. Some of you may not know that Sakad was a Racine band, the second Racine band after Ayizan. Out of the many singers we audition, Pascal was the only one able to pull it off. The guy has a rich and unique voice. I also participated in a Konpa band along with Pascal called Klinik, the very first Konpa and Haitian band I’ve joined right before Sakad. What an experience it was.

Great Job Pascal!! I see your vocal is still in tact. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in the past.

Peace out,
Ron
