It's obvious that Jube is trying his best for T.Micky by putting him in as many shows as he could. Some worked fine while others like the Amazura experience was a complete disaster and a wake up call that good songs pull crowd and not artists or promoters face/name recognition...despite major advertising blasts and all the best marketing strategies.

Looking at a flier that came to me this week, I can see that the young artist will be at a show with Kassav and Kon'Beat at a free concert in Cap Haitien...This is to say that Jube is using all his ideas, influence and connections not only in the Diaspora but even in Haiti.

What I think would have been the best thing for Ti Micky would be to have him on Eastern Parkway considering what happened last year with NO HAITIAN band on the parkway and still none announced for this year till now...A well advertized Ti Micky coming out would have been much better for the artist than all those shows that he was part of in terms of exposures...Get him some guest artists like Michael Guirand, Mika and others and it will be his best chance to be seen by those who don't go to paid parties...and a chance to represent the country led by his father at a major international event in the U.S.
This post is open for discussions......

Jube and his team are doing what they feel is best for T-Micky...in terms of putting him on Eastern Parkway is a stretch in my eyes unless HE is the guest on another band's float...T-micky has to pay his dues just like everyone else..

Now their marketing strategy of promoting him can use a change but he is still viewed and will ALWAYS be viewed as SWEET Micky's son...He needs to come from under his father's shadow and stand out.. They need to push his music MORE!! The only time i see T-Micky is on a flyer performing somewhere but i have yet to hear his music being promoted...

Now if Jube wants to use his influences and whatever else to promote T-Micky, good for him, I'm sure every band wishes they had a manager to push them in the same fashion..Jube is invested in this artist, i'm sure his time and money..i don't think he is going to just sit back and see how things play out. He will be all hands on deck....

I think T-Mickey is a young kid and have tremendous potential, but i think the way they're promoting him can also hurt him. In a way people will look at as it's because his the first son of the Republic that's why they're pushing him down our throat. As far as Eastern Parkway, Staff, you make laugh so hard i farted. They man can't even make an impact in the in his own country where his father is sitting on the big chair, you want him to get crucified on the parkway?

I know you mean well, but.... eastern Parkway?

I think Jude is doing his job to keep T-Micky active in the HMI circuit; I don't think having T-Micky as the only Haitian band on the parkway will be a good move at all...to me that would be what it's called a self-inflicted wound or even suicide.

Mwen we jan yo tap struggle nan premye jou knaval o kay la, si bagay yo pa pase byen sou parkway ya lap pran djaz la tan avan'l rekouvri.
