This is the latest response that we got from KARIZMA manager RENE regarding the statement made by Paris producer ARNOLD.
RENE: "Greetings Pat, I have read Arnold's plausible explanation, but had he contacted Karizma or our representative in Paris, this would be a non issue right now.... The fact remains his still has a karizma track (partial) on his cd... Secondly, a company would not print a CD cover without the executive producer approval.. Whether or not Arnold was in transit, it was his obligation to ensure that all the information on his commercial cd was correct... I am always for peaceful solutions. Arnold called me after the fact, and I kindly accept his explanation.. He should not point finger at Karizma or DJ Flo, a very credible individual with a proven track record. If Arnold has permission from the other bands to use their music on a live cd, I am certain he would have to contact individual band to obtain their permission... I wanted to put an end to this and reach a peaceful solution. Arnold cannot fault DJ Flow or Karizma for his ineptitude and or his flaws.
I do not wish to engage in a verbal war with Arnold, I respect what he does, but I would advice him next time to contact Karizma & DJ Flow first... We will gladly work with him as with we have done with many DJs ( given them permission to use Karizma track on any promotional CD) Note: Pat, my rep. is originally from Martinique.I will gladly have him talked if you wish."

Rene makes perfect sense! Whether the song is included on the compilation or not, the fact that Karizma is on the cover is just plain wrong!
Either way the promoter is wrong. He should have kept his mouth of shut after Rene mentioned this issue was settled peacefully.
