*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Most musicians think WOMEN in a Male HMI band spells TROUBLE. Do you agree or disagree? Tell us why.

If you are sentimental, it can be a problem, but if you are keeping it BUSINESS and keeping it professional, I don't see how it can be a problem. Anyways m'panse pesonelman ke jazz ki gen fi ladann gen on attraction particuliere.. It's a plus.

I agree with Joe 100%. Many want a woman as eye candy and not as a solid musician/vocalist in a band. It does not help either when many of the women seeking posiions in band present themselves as centerfolds instead of serious musicians. Just look at the photos posted when they find the need to update KM members about their plans etc. The fact is in the HMI women are not respected as musicians.
