Look out for Haitian Compoas Festival owners RODNEY NOEL and JEAN MICHEL "CECIBON" to roll out the HAITIAN IMAGE AWARDS sometime next year. From what he told me, it will be an event to honor HAITIAN CULTURE from MOVIES to other categories.

That will be great. I hope that someday someone will create something like that for the HMI, but I don't see how they can judge each category? Can you ask him, how many categories he’s going to have and how he’s planning on judging them?

Great move indeed. It would be nice to see people in our community being honored for their work.
