That is so true about the Haitian culture.

Sometimes I even say to myself: Depi ou tande yon pakèt pale anpil, bri ak zen, ou mèt konnen gen ayisyen nan zòn la. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Most of the time it's very funny.

H1,

I think, I too suffer of this disease, there is no reason whyI should deny it. Whether it's cultural or not brings no hapiness to my situation.
Be happy that you and I only argue on KM. When I got with my cousin about politics and everything else for that matter, which we do everytime and I mean everytime we get together, my wife always run away as far as possible from us to avoid the yelling and the screaming. Everytime we get together for too long I always end up losing my voice.

I'm so conscious of it now, I try to avoid it as much as possible especially now that I feel that I win most arguments anyway.

Let me know if there is a place to go for cure

People scream because they want to be heard.
They scream because they want to make a point.
They scream because they are comfortable with who they are.
They scream because they are not aware of the pitch of their voice.
They scream to get attention.
They scream to intimidate.
They scream because they are not great listeners.

Haitians are not the only one that screams when interacting with others. The only reason we can always pinpoint our own people, is because we get embarrass of the language or accent and also of the content of their conversation.
