This is an excerpt from an article I posted on the music section but there was a section about Gore.

"Everyone knows all these concerts came about because Al Gore had a movie last year called An Inconvenient Truth. But if I ask him to come to Haiti and speak on the issue, he isn't doing it for free and will charge me a fee," he scoffed.

"I'm a realist and I don't see how effective the message would be simply by having musicians performing all over the world. We all know about global warming. I don't think Al Gore is saving the world. It looks like he just jumped on an issue because he couldn't become President of the United States."

Monche, Gore needs money brother so he does not work for free. Also, in part and Clinton as well, they destroyed Haiti by putting back the one eyed demon and his buddies into power. You notice the Clinton's visited the DR several times a year for so call vacation and the country they stuck a wood a up it ass they don't even vacation once. Worst yet, Hilary is assigning Haitian issues to someone else as well. If you ask them people where is Haiti they will not know they know nothing about Haiti. Unfortnately, Obama is no better, if they ask him where is Haiti he would point Hawaii. There is a reason and its clear indeed monche, their legacy is forever marred in Haiti because of the one eyed demon.

About Algore...this guy is so fake…and the most boring speaker there is....
Yes…. it seems that he jumped on an issue so he can still be around....

Exactly….we were all aware of global warming….and I have not seen any real actions taken to save the world besides him being all over the place, becoming friends with Hollywood,……receiving awards,

Now….the new trend is that “going green campaign” which in reality can only be followed by rich people, because living totally “green” requires a lot of money.

The other day I read a short article that got me smiling, the writer was like: “Algore is talking non stop about how to save the Globe but surprisingly he still uses limo services to go to those interviews…isn’t that harmful to the environment… shouldn’t he start by being an example…..maybe walking once in a while”

Anyway…the guy is full of crap, he's just making his money. He probably would not even go to Haiti even if they were to pay him…unless he would have the media following him there… so he can get more publicity of course. Because to me, his goal is more about making the news than anything else.

Well, I think that is why Gore is looking bad on this issue and Wyclef is using it to benefit his interests. BTW, Gore or Clinton do not want to touch Haiti trust me on that. Cool

Hate the guy but his Global Warming documentary had raised awarness among many people. True some people knew about it but right now, they're talking more about it. I thought the concert was a good idea to promote the movie and get more people to watch it. The guy is not bullshitting in the movie. He used research.

Yeah, he did do a great job with that movie. Interesting he was asked to come to Haiti, a place that is in need of ecological advice but I guess he wanted to get paid.

i don't think he was bullshitting in the movie,....even though i never saw it, i am sure it was very educative. Trying to save the environment is a great cause... but there is something about him that always make me think that he is not that genuine, and that's why i am not surprised that he requires a fee to go to haiti to speak on an issue that is so important to him.
Although i don't know much about the whole story, but we won't save the globe if the work is being done only in America.


about the concert....i really don't see what real impact it had on the people who are not conscious on how important it is to save the environment.
but since the concert was packed.....i guess many understood it the way you did.

I could careless about the guy himself. I never liked Al Gore i don't know why. But his movie did create awarness. The concert didn't have anything to do with the movie i agree. But entertainment is one way to reach out to the youngs and a large majority of people.
H1, as for Al Gore not coming to Haiti, you know that nothing's free in this world Very Happy Just jocking!
