*A NEW NUMBER 1 SONG: RAFRECHI's "ESKE" has peaked the interest of our listeners and jumps to the number 1 spot for the month of September 2008.

*BIG WINNERS: NU LOOK and MISTY JEAN scored the most songs on the countdown. MISTY gets 4 songs on there, including three songs in the top ten, whereas NU LOOK scores with 3, including the song "LEGACY" cracking our countdown for the first time ever.

*HARMONIK/ZENGLEN LOSING STEAM?: Harmonik has 2 songs on the countdown with "Harmonize'w" and "Konsekan". The other songs that they had on the countdown fell off for the month of September. Zenglen only has "FOK SA CHANJE" on the countdown this month, after having at least 3/4 songs the last few times.

*PREVIOUS NUMBER 1: ZIN's "DEPIM' WE'W" went from number 1 to number 20.

*INSTANT IMPACT: BIG "O"'s (Featuring Olivier Duret) premiere single "MY LADY" just shot up all the way to number 3 on the countdown. An impressive debut for a song that just came on this month. That indicates lots of interest in the song among our listeners.

*KREYOL LA "RETRO": The group's song "KOREM' LA" had our listeners listening this month for whatever reason. Could it be the fans are getting themselves hyped up for their upcoming single "Plon Gaye"?

Misty has got 3 songs in the top 6, overall she's got 4 out of the top 16, that is insanity almost in any music industry, that's really great, I don't wanna hear about females not making it in the HMI anymore, there's your answer...

It's time people start to pay attention to the Washington D.C artists...we don't have soldiers/ private photographers/millionaires/Ti Sousou on our corners but every time we put a song "music for music" on KM we came out on top...Hope you guys remember last year that my song MA DEBAT was on top of the most released albums of the year....Today again Rafrechi's song Eske'n Pare just prove me right again....
Look at the chart and see "MUSIC FOR MUSIC" where Rafrechi is compare to Nu Look/ Kreyol La/ Zin/Alan Cavé and others and most of all the band that is closer to Rafrechi in terms of age group...."Harmonik"....is second
I remember telling you guys to look for shelter because there is a Cyclone coming out of D.C....well the time is almost there because the cd is ready and will hit the street in due time pending negotiations...the video is ready and will hit the air soon....
Just like Barrack Obama was incognito to many until the primaries.....and he passed the opponents including Hillary with top speed...it's the same thing that is happening in the HMI when it comes the KIKI the singer of Rafrechi and the caliber of the rest of the band....
I'm not a Rafrechi soldier, but rest assured I've always been a Washington D.C community leader....and I will support the young musicians of my community. Over the years we always produced the best songs here in D.C...they just never reach you...because the N.Y/FL promoters and producers often choose to look in the wrong direction....THANKS TO KM MEMBERS FOR THEIR CHOICE OF WHAT IS BEST...AND NOT FOR WHAT IS POPULAR...OR WHAT IT BEING PUSH INTO THEIR THROATS....
