This question I know puzzles a lot given I was raised in Miami. Well, I have always been a fans since a child. Reminiscing on seeing Jim Rice hit his homeruns and watching in horror Bill Buckner mess up history. Living in Miami I saw these things and I imagine the rest of the world did as well. I witnessed the Bears trouncing my favoriteteam in the '85 SuperBowl. But the love NE sport teams was always in me. So when I decided to go to college the first cities I considered was Boston. Given this place is considered "THE HUB", because of its many fine educational institutions, I was like danm I must consider this place.

After finishing school and working in DC for a couple of years, I still kept up with baseball and football in NE. I remember witnessing the Pats lose the Super Bowl to the Green Bay Packers and seeing many blown playoff hopes of the Red Sox. But today I cherish the greatest moments of NE Sports History. A couple of SuperBowls and World Series later NE sports is reigning to make more history. A couple other cities I know would like to cherish these moments for themselves but they never will.

So I am proud to say BOSTON:SPORTS CAPITAL OF THE WORLD with pride!!!! Cool

Well well well, would you look at this. Their Boston Celtics are highly considered for this NBA season, their B-Sucks are in the world series, NE Patriots are doing well and Kentucky shook the BCS ranking to have Boston College at number 2, possibly number 1 if Ohio fell this weekend, now, Boston is the sport capital of the world.
Enjoy it while it last this season only.

mesye woo...ala neg djole se H1 sa! Laughing Boston #1 sports town? wheyy Razz

H1, pou'w di'm at the height of Marino's glory years in the mid to late 80's to the mid 90's, you were a Patriots fan? Confused Dude, do you remember the Patriots from back then? The 1-15 Patriots? These patriots? Razz Laughing

I hate when people I like go to teams and cities that I feel apathetic towards or I flatly don't like. That's why I hated the Garnett trade! I want he and Doc Rivers to win, but I don't know if I can handle another H1/TBoxer take over! Laughing

Enjoy your "city of Champions" you traitor Razz The state of Florida is where the true champions reside! Wink manti'm fe? Very Happy Cool

Let me real, Marino is the all time best. He had decent receivers but Mark Clayton and Mark Duper were not what many would call hall of fame receivers but Marino made them what they became. Brady is man of intelligence and perseverance but he posses the ultimate skill of making AMAZING DECISIONS!!!!

Doc need this season badly he deserves it. If you had not notice 2008 EA sports game got the Celtics and Lakers in ads already. Why is that, well these two franchises are the backbone of basketball. For a long time, the Celts have been in the dumps and Jordan carried the league. But with no Jordan and diminish interests in basketball, the GREAT CELTICS is the only choice to bring back basketball glory. That is why Kobe needs to be in LA and bring back the fierce battles between the Celts and Lakers.

Otherwise, basketball is doom regardless whether Jimbo or friends think, without the Celtics basketball is dead.

Now with BASEBALL, there is nothing to add just look the WS. WE ARE THE BEST!!!!

The celtics will have a good season but in the playoffs, the nets or the cavs can beat them.
