I was reading the letter last night half asleep. I thought MG left and the band is still to continue. But now I'm reading reality smh

It's very sad to see a band of this caliber is breaking up. Kou di pou konpa. Sad but It wasn't healthy for them to stay together.

Dam. This news is settling in. It really is a BIG F__ DEAL, man! SMH

What a tremendous loss for Haitian music and culture, writ large!

No one can deny the job CaRiMi did as one of our most visible ambassadors to the rest of the world. And they carried themselves with absolute professionalism and class!

There are tons of memories shared with friends from road trips to parties with this band lurking in the background.

You all are and will always be appreciated!

Ou met di sa for.....I think some people are still numb and are not really ready to believe that this is the end of CaRiMi as we know it. I'm so desperate now that I'm going to an French website to find all the CaRiMi live concerts that I don't have in my music library. I'm failing miserably but I'm hoping they will re-stock soon :)
