If you ask BOSTON promoter YVON of HIT ENTERTAINMENT....it is an INSULT for any band to EXPECT A BONUS from a promoter for a great party. He explains why below



YVON HIT ENTERTAINMENT: "I think it is an INSULT for a band to EXPECT a bonus from a promoter if a party is GREAT...only because when the party is BAD....most bands, unless you have a great relationship with them;....THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT LESS MONEY FROM THE PROMOTER. THE BANDS ARE SAFE in terms of MONEY regardless of the party's outcome because YO GINTAN TOUCHE ANVAN BAL LA, therefore whether it's weather related, or otherwise, if the party is NOT that good, THEY STILL GET THEIR MONEY. It's already in the contract how much a band is supposed to receive for a service that night, therefore they have no right to EXPECT A BONUS if the party is great.
