I think that is essentially because in terms of capacity, playing...ect, we already know what they can do. They are great players; but the most important for me is what they have brought as SIGNATURES within the Haitian music."

Reginald Benjamin is by far the most influential guitarist in the HMI over the last 2 decades. Lapuerta, Bato, Pozo se Reginald yap sousé
Dener is great, easily top 3 but not influencial. Kiyes ki ka touché akò nèg sa?

There's no way to be great and not be influential. Conde's style just hard to mimic.

When others are copying ur style/sound, you are influential. That's why I said Reginald Benjamen is the most influential guitarist in the HMI over the last 2 decades.
Influential & greatness r 2 different things. U can b influential & not great. Also you can b great & not influential.
