well he might be right paske king posse and original pat janm kon'n nan makak depi'w mete tel koule rad sou wou ou mouchwa wouj mouchwa nwa whatever ou paka pase nan tel zon'n so so thats why they might be more popular than king posse even though musically king posse was way more productive than them

That's it wi. Tout timoun ap grandi nan repete chante BC yo. Granmoun yo we ampil nan text neg so yo tres "Engagé". Wap gade mizik tankou Met Kapot, Jiskobou, Gen Lafwa, Ayiti Pi Red, VFK(Vye Fanm Kreyol), se lapli et le bo temps yap fe anba an.
Mwen pense ke neg BC pi populaire ke king Posse Haiti. King posse te konn kraze beton an nan kanaval, neg yo te konn mande anrajer nan Perfection but BC ranmasse tou pep la net.

BC capture lajeness men yo poko gen kontrol granmoun yo non. King Posse te gen kontrol tout moun wi neg...

Neg2byen, mwen pa dako ak koze mizik BC paka jwe nan n'impot fete. So la deja nou vinn gen yon conflit de epok between King Posse's era and BC's. Menm jan ak Zouk tou.

Mwen ta renmen konnen sou ki cirtere nou baze pou nou di ke Granmoun yo pa accepte BC.

Fred ap jwe politik. King Posse pa ka fe anyen pou li nan moman an, but BC could. Li lage ko'l on the other side.

In the 90's lol. Se le sa ki te gen HMI, konya, se yon bann neg k'ap "brase". Tchuip

That's quite a debatable issue.

King Posse was very very very popular and was embraced by all social classes and generations. Even young kids loved and knew King Posse's songs. Their diverse style (ragga muffin with flavors of r&b, konpa, soul, pop, rap)was welcomed and appreciated by almost everyone.

They scored many hit songs and had an all-time classic and fan favorite album with "I Like it". They became a major carnival player and all of their carnivals from 1996 to 2002 were big hits.

I mean King Posse reached a legendary status in the history of our music.

BC and Rockfam are also very popular. BC is more popular than Rockfam in my opinion Both have made their mark. But only to some extent... they are not embraced by all social classes and ages like King Posse was.

To compare their popularity to King Posse's is a little bit difficult to do. Because while BC and Rockfam are well known in Haiti, I don't really think their popularity and appeal extend that much to the diaspora in the USA, Canada, etc. like King Posse did.

The rap kreyol phenomenon also was a major boost to BC and Rockfam.

Whereas King Posse, it looks more like they created their own phenomenon and set a trend for many others that followed and even copied their style.

I co-sign with Phiz on this one.

I remember walking into a store (sold tourist collectible items) in Nantucket one summer and hearing KP on the radio. When I asked the store owner how he knew of the group, he claimed his appreciation of Carribean music and his love for KP. I have yet to hear
other Haitian artists featured in that type of setting
.

Maybe its because im a die hard King Posse(at least the original members) fan but im sorry i dnt feel like BC or Rockfam can ever touch dem.

Kids who werent even born when King Posse was hot knows their songs

I respectfully disagree King Posse and even Original Rap Staff is way better than these new groups.

Might be true.

Im not sure if posse ever travelled here to perform but I think more people in the diaspora listened to their music than BC OR ROCKFAM.

You nailed it Siro.

I think Fred is probably referring to Haiti, since BC and Rockfam are yet to be embraced here in the states.

Pesonelman, mwen toujou al nan parties nan brooklyn ak lot kote nan nyc mwen pa janm tande yap jwe mizik BC non. Mwen toujou al nan ti club haitien nan queens, yo pa janm jwe okenn mizik BC.
