Two shot in Pembroke Pines nightclub

PEMBROKE PINES - Police are looking for a person who shot a man and woman in a nightclub on Pines Boulevard early Monday morning.
The shooting happened at 4:30 a.m. at the Marabou Café on 9940 Pines Blvd. The woman was shot in the arm and the man was shot several times, said Sgt. John Jacob, a Pembroke Pines Police spokesman.
Police did not identify either victim. The wounded man was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood and underwent surgery, Jacob said. He was expected to recover. The woman was also treated.
Investigators were on the scene Monday morning talking to witnesses, Jacob said.
"We've had shootings here (outside the nightclub) before in the parking lot. This is the first time it's occurred inside," he said.

| This is very sad news...I don't go out as much like others, but do they not have metal detectors or conduct 'pat-downs" anymore... I wonder how this will affect the Vice Party scheduled for tonight |

Thats unfortunate big time.. that club days are numbered. Whats up with security check??
Glad that the victims are okay. Hope they recover well...

If people is gonna continue to do these actions, then Haitians won't even
have their own night club in Miami also. Why wasn't security more enforced?
Don't they do pat downs?

It was Reggae Night at Marabou Cafe, Bounty Killer was schedule to performed. People Marabou Cafe is 25 miles north of City of Miami.
