At only 39 years old Ernst Laporte, the older brother of the guitarist Gabriel Laporte, died this morning at 3.00 am in Cap Haitien.
My sincere condolences to the Laporte family especially to the musicians Gabriel Laporte and his cousin Pierre Laporte on the lost of their love one.
According to Pierre the decease was not ill...he simply had a fever yesterday and passed away in the middle of the night. His sudden death comes as a shock to family and friends.....
