Was the group LAKOL robbed at gunpoint in Haiti like a couple of sources are telling us? This is what a source broke down to us.
SOURCE: "LAKOL after performing at a festival in ST MARC, on their way back to the capital after the event, got robbed by a few gunmen when they got to a town before CABARET. Musicians were relieved of their monies, passports, as well as their instruments. Fortunately they were let go without any further incident. It seems that LAKOL also knew that DISIP DE GAZZMAN were also on their way back on the same route that evening, being that they were performing after LAKOL at that show, the LAKOL guys quickly warned the DISIP crew of what had happened, to spare them from going through the same experience that they had just gone through. The LAKOL guys spent the rest of the night at the local police precinct before heading back to the capital."
We hope that everything that everything turned out ok if indeed they went through this painful experience.

This is sad. Thank God no life was lost. Li le pou bagay sa yo suspann en Haiti. Why would the musicians carry their passports while performing gigs in Haiti anyway? Moun pa mache ak passport sou yo en Haiti kek temps unless wap pati . I applaud their decision to call DISP and prevent them from going through this crap. Stay strong guys epi kontinye kole lakol.

was very noble of them to give Disip a
heads up...
Unless they went to St Marc straight from Pap's
airport, why did they travel with their passport?

| Thank God no one got hurt... But one thing we all need to understand is that when a band is touring from province to province most musicians carry all valuable stuff with them because they dont usually go back to the same Hotel. Again we're glad they're all safe. |
