Words are not enough to congratulate Haitian star singer Jean Jean Roosevelt who won the gold medal at the music competition in Nice France.
While our athletes are eliminated, it is in the art category that Haiti would come out first to the satisfaction of us all.

Jean Jean, a young man with a golden voice, will now join the rank of other Haitian singers who are known as International competition music champions at difference places around the world like Ansy Derose, Georges Lys Herard aka Master Dji, Beethova Obas, and Belo. The musical show which is part of Les Jeux de la Francophonie was broadcasted live on France O. At the finals of the Song Category, Jean Jean competed against Valérie (Autriche); Sae Lis (Liban); Holy Jah Doves (Rwanda); and Beni-Wende Marietou Ouedraogo (Burkina Faso).

His song "Donnez le monde aux femmes" is one of the best that got him some serious air time in Haiti in the recent years, and now Jean Jean just take his career to a whole new level. Just like it happened for Belo, we will hope that Jean Jean will get some serious exposures in the international community, and hopefully will get the status of Superstar in the upcoming days, Icon in the upcoming years and legend in the future.

Some of you may not know about Jean Jean Roosevelt yet, but rest assured that is a name you sure will hear a lot of in the HMI circle. In fact, in Haiti they are already planning a huge welcome for him at the airport, and already radio and T.V stations are fighting for a spot to have him on their stations upon his return....
Congrats Jean Jean Roosevelt....we are so proud of you....
