BIO
Chanm Chanm is a “Twoubadou/Kompa Band (Haitian Creole pronounced: (twubakompa) which is mix of Twoubadou & Kompa. Before all the members came together as one, it all began with the passion of a friend
who invited a couple of musicians to a birthday party to hear Chanm Chanm play in Orlando, Florida. This is when the magic happened, a trickle effect occurred and two other well-known local musicians were contacted to complete the band.
In early February 2015 driven by the same passion to create music, the six member band, Max Saintilus, (Maestro/Bass) Max Alabre, (Lead Singer) Junior Joseph, (Keyboard) Eddy Catan, (Conga) Frantz Patrice, (Drums) Arthur Jean (Guitar) started rehearsing together to make several dreams one common goal. Chanm Chanm band which was named after a popular Haitian snack made out of corn brings memories of their home Haiti.
In a short time the band released their first single titled “Le Nap Danse” which has been an instant sensation amongst social media followers, Sound cloud, HMI Live listeners, and local journalists. Chanm Chanm has been recently invited to perform live with legendary musicians at Tele Anacaona; the first Haitian television station to be broadcasted throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada.
Finally, there is no doubt music is universal. The mixture of various influences makes for the first twouba/kompa band in Orlando, Florida. With the contagious sound of the conga and percussions, the riff of the keyboard and the electric feel of the guitar, makes the band Chanm Chanm ready to make their mark.

Nicely executed. The lead singer sounds pretty good. Good luck to Sham Sham. _________________ An obstacle is often an unrecognized opportunity. |
